Gold Award potential Elena from troop 8343, Silver Award potential Amanda from troop 8707 and eight Bronze Award potential Girl Scouts from troop 8373 joined together to host an Ability Awarness and Inclusion Workshop.  86 girls attended the Workshop and special guests included Pete and Connor his dog from Canine Companions International and Ellen from CP Wheelchairs for Humanity. The workshop received donations of Spanish books and art/school supplies to be divided between the school in Nicaragua and a local school for homeless children. In addition, six wheel chairs were
donated to Wheelchairs for Humanity, a donation was given to Canine Companions and enough money was raised that for a school for disabled children in Honduras to install internet and pay for the service for the first six months.  Thank you for all who participated!
