Troop 8343: Elena's Silver Award Project with Blue Sky Reserve

Elena has worked with Blue Sky Reserve in order to create a Friends of Blue Sky Patch program that girl scouts and non-girl scouts can complete to earn a Friends of Blue Sky Patch. She created the patch and then earned enough money to order the first 200 patchs for Blue Sky. On April 30 and May 1st, 2011 she along with docents from Friends of Blue Sky, conducted hikes, the proceeds of which are going to buy a permant trail sign to point out Poison Oak! Troops 8473/8235 were among the troops who helped support Blue Sky by hiking in the reserve.
