Troop 8804 Bronze Award for Children with Hair Loss

From Troop 8804, Ellie, Lorna, Celeste, Eloise and Marisa completed their Girl Scout Bronze Award. They came up with an idea to help their community, brain stormed, came up with a plan, and implemented it! They had 20 people donate at least 8 inches of hair for Children with Hair Loss, and Tease Salon donated their salon and 6 stylists to make this event happen. Children with Hair Loss is a nonprofit organization that creates wigs for kids with medically related hair loss. This organization has never charged a child for a wig. They typically make enough wigs for approximately 300 children a year.
